Our employee, Muzafar Ali Kalwar, who serves as Vice President of the PhD Students’ Self-Government at the Doctoral School of Gdańsk University of Technology, gave a presentation during a meeting with students and the authorities of the Doctoral School of Gdańsk University of Technology, held at Auditorium Novum.

During his presentation, he shared practical guidance on doctoral studies, covering work organization, research challenges, and everyday functioning in the academic environment.

The presentation also provided an opportunity to introduce the Institute of Hydro-Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences as a place open to collaboration with young researchers. Participants had the opportunity to learn more about possibilities for connecting with our staff, visiting the Institute’s laboratories, as well as about ongoing projects and potential directions for research cooperation. Among the areas presented were, among others, coastal engineering, wave mechanics and structural dynamics, and geomechanics.
