The responsibilities of the assistant professor will include scientific and research work in the fields of hydrodynamics, hydro-engineering, as well as participation in projects carried out by the Department of Wave Mechanics and Structural Dynamics. In particular, activity in publishing in renowned international journals and applying for research funding in domestic and international agencies will be required.

Requirements:

• PhD degree in technical sciences, preferably in civil engineering, geodesy and transport discipline;
• knowledge of modelling methods used in hydrodynamics;
• knowledge of experimental methods used in hydrodynamics, experience in conducting experiments in hydraulic laboratory;
• knowledge of commercial software used in scientific and engineering work (e.g. Matlab, Mathematica, Statistica, Fortran, C / C ++, CAD);
• computer programming skills;
• very good command of English;
• interest in problems related to marine environment;
