The Doctoral School at the Gdańsk University of Technology (GUT) was established on 18 April 2019. It is opened for candidates since the 2019/20 academic year. The main institution running the School is the University of Technology, in partnership with the Institute of Hydro-Engineering of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBW PAN) and the Institute of Fluid-Flow Machinery of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IMP PAN). The school educates in 12 research disciplines, including civil engineering and transport, represented by our Institute and the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at GUT. According to the agreement, the Institute is entitled to a place for one doctoral student in each standard recruitment.
Education at the School is conducted in English and requires a B2-level language certificate at the time of recruitment. Detailed information about the School can be found at:
