Two measuring towers collapsed into the water during the recent storm (end of December 2010). Remnants of the second tower are still visible in the sea, while the first one disappeared almost totally. The detailed inspection and protection of the infrastructure is planned in the spring 2011.
Further investigations will be carried out by use of autonomous measuring devices.
