SEDIMENT TRANSPORT IN RIVERS AND TRANSITIONAL WATERS 18 - 22 MAY 2005
General info
The 3-day seminar will be organized in Hotel Renusz on Sobieszewo island (part of the city of Gdańsk) on the 19-21 May 2005. The main aim of the seminar is to exchange the existing knowledge on sediment transport problems in rivers and transitional waters with an emphasis on deltas in regions of different character. About 30 participants from Polish scientific institutions, as well as from EU and non-EU institutions, including invited lectures and PhD students, is expected.. Thanks to financial support received within the EU project CEM (Centre for Environmental Engineering and Mechanics) for the accepted participants the cost of accommodation and subsistence, proceedings and technical trip will be covered by organizers. For participants from outside Poland travel costs can also be refunded. The selection of participants will be based on the proposed presentations.
