Modelling of water waves in harbours
A two-day workshop will be organised by the CEM. IBW participated in design studies for almost all Polish harbours and has more than 40 years experience in the modelling of water waves in harbours. Lectures will be conducted by scientists from the CEM and 3 invited European specialists. The programme of the workshop will cover all main steps applied in the modelling of waves in a harbour — from the generation of wind waves, through refraction and diffraction processes, up to the modelling of wave agitation in a harbour of arbitrary layout.
